GOMA Waterford is delighted to invite you to 𝘊𝘢𝘱𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘗𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘴, a special exhibition viewing featuring artwork created by participants of the VITA Community, on Monday 1st December from 2–4pm.

This exhibition highlights the vibrant work produced through the VITA Community Members’ weekly studio workshops at GOMA. Over the past year, participants have explored a wide range of styles and techniques in a series of 4–6 week modules led by GOMA’s studio artist facilitators. The result is a diverse and expressive collection that celebrates individuality, creativity, and community.
This event is presented in partnership with Vita Community Hub, which supports service users in building independence, confidence, and meaningful connections within their lives and communities. Driven by the core principles of New Directions, Vita aims to empower service users to become more independent and confident within their own lives and in their local community. Linking with community organisations such as the VEC, ETB and the SIDO, Vita aims to offer their service users a range of courses and activities in their community which will help them to develop valued social roles. They also offer weekend and evening outings each month which help service users go to events in and around Waterford City such as concerts, theatre and sporting events.
